Can I purchase airtime at any bank machine?
No. This program is available on most CIBC ABM's as a service to CIBC Bank Card holders at this time.

Where is the closest CIBC ABM that offers this service?
Click the "Find ABM" link on the left to locate the bank machine that is nearest to you.

Is there a transaction fee for purchasing airtime this way?
No extra bank machine fees will be incurred but your regular debit card transaction fees, if any, are applicable.

What if I don't have a CIBC Bank Card?
You can still purchase prepaid airtime, either Cellular or Long Distance, by clicking on the appropriate link on the left, and using a major credit card.

Is the Prepaid Direct Site secure?
Yes, this is a secure site that uses the most advanced, high security online system available. Shopping security at prepaiddirect.ca is guaranteed through our high level encryption processes.

Can I use a credit card at a CIBC ABM?
No. Our ABM program is designed as a service for CIBC Bank Card holders at their closest CIBC bank machine.

Are Prepaid Direct airtime rates competitive?
Yes. You can purchase any brand of prepaid cellular airtime, and the rates are identical to buying a card from your Service Provider. CiCi and OLA Long Distance rates are the most competitive in Canada, and have no "hidden" charges or service fees.

How do I add the time to my Prepaid Cellular phone?
If you are using any brand of prepaid cellular, simply follow the instructions on the ABM receipt or in the email we send to you with your PIN number.

How do I use my CiCi and OLA Long Distance PIN to make calls?

  • To place a call, dial 1-866-209-3772 and follow the voice prompts.
  • For calls within Canada, United States and the Caribbean, dial 1 + phone number.
  • For International calls dial 011+ country code and city code and number.

    Do CiCi and OLA PIN's work with my cellphone?
    Yes. Simply make your call as outlined in the previous answer. You will be charged CiCi and OLA rates for the long distance portion of your call, and your cellular charges will be billed by your Service Provider, according to your agreement with them.
